This commitment, with signature lines, encourages divorced parents to apply biblical principles in relationship with each other and others. These items are based on Romans 12 verses 12-21. This takes the heat off you in regard to how your parents should act and places the burden on the Apostle Paul.
Pray about whether a copy of the plain commitment or the one with signatures is most appropriate for your situation. It’s very important to remember that this is designed to help. This is not a coercive or manipulative tool–one that makes them feel guilty if they don’t do it.
